He attained his Law degree from Moi University and has experience in Corporate and Banking Law and General Legal Practice. He obtained his Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (KSL) and is also an associate with the chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Walters advises regularly on matters before all levels of civil, employment and criminal courts and he has experience in the Court of First Instance and at the Appellate level courts, including in the Criminal Court of Appeal. He has also had involvement in numerous commercial arbitrations governed by a variety of rules, in disciplinary proceedings and in expert determination.

His scope of practice ranges from arbitration, breaches of warranty, insolvency, employment matters, fraud, professional negligence claims and technical disputes.
