i) Conveyancing Department

The department has a wide range of experience in representing and advising financial institutions on secured lending and asset financing. It also has extensive experience in handling sophisticated transactions involving different kinds of property.

In this regard, our team is involved in all aspects of property transactions from the project inception to completion; this includes planning, acquisition, financing, construction, leasing, contract negotiation, and negotiating easements and access rights.

The Firm has and is representing various clients in the acquisition and sale/disposal of properties all over Kenya and across the borders.

ii) Commercial Department

This department offers services in various fields of commercial practice such as; capital markets, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and international trade, privatization, public-private partnerships and immigration law, incorporation of local and foreign companies, and registration of all legal entities.

iii) Intellectual Property

This department is used to dealing with technical and specialist subject matter, and many of them focus on specific sectors, giving them a more applied knowledge of how IP is exploited in practice. They frequently work with colleagues and external local lawyers in other jurisdictions to ensure claims are pursued consistently and in the most appropriate forums. They will pursue and defend cases aggressively and effectively but are able to resolve a high percentage of disputes by negotiated settlements.
